Planted in the summer of 2007 by us, Matthew Deaves and James King, we have grown Little Tree into a conscientious, dependable web design company based in the West Midlands.
Matthew Deaves
Hello, I’m Matt, I provide technical expertise and oversee software design and programming at Little Tree. My job is to make the most of current and upcoming software technologies to provide solid foundations for our project work.
My background as a software developer in Belgium and Birmingham working with small software companies and large multinationals, has given me a fairly broad skill set covering a variety of languages.
I’m not all geek though. I’m a pretty big film fan (ok, this sometimes gets quite geeky), a supporter of my local real ale pub and currently in training to walk the Pennine way. Amateur photography is a hobby I’ve had since backpacking around the East with my girlfriend. You can see photos of my travels over at www.mdeaves.com.
James King
Hello, I’m James, I provide the more creative and front-end expertise at Little Tree. Which basically means I am responsible for the pretty side of your website, while ensuring your website is accessible to the largest audience possible.
I have been professionally building websites for nearly ten years, and my enthusiasm grows year on year. I get great pleasure from hearing that a website I have worked has transformed a business, or made someone’s life easier.
When I am not working (which isn’t very often nowadays), I love spending time with my girlfriend, daughter and/or friends more than anything else in the world, whether we’re having a few drinks in a beer garden or going away for little holiday. My other passion is drawing, but I have really neglected this over the past few years.
